P2P Wins: Fitness Facility Agreement

February 27, 2026

A university group previously relied on a gym facility that changed ownership, resulting in significant price increases plus an annual fee. Although the new operator later offered a discounted rate with a one‑time initiation fee, the reduced pricing applied only to students, offered limited class access, and excluded employees.

The group engaged Procurement to identify a more cost‑effective fitness solution. After reviewing several options, Procurement negotiated a three‑year agreement with a large nonprofit fitness organization. The agreement secures a lower locked-in rate per participant with no added fees, covering up to 600 individuals. The partnership includes a 15% corporate discount, Net‑30 billing terms, and full access to all branch locations.

This negotiated agreement delivers substantial cost savings while expanding access and operational flexibility for the university community.
