Floral Request Guidelines
- Baylor University recognizes significant life events affecting faculty and staff by extending expressions of sympathy, support, and celebration on behalf of the Baylor community.
- The University will provide:
- Sympathy arrangements for the death of a faculty or staff member, or an immediate family member (spouse, child, parent, or sibling). This typically includes flowers or a plant accompanied by a message from the Baylor family.
- Funeral or memorial arrangements for active or retired employees with 25 or more years of service to Baylor University. This generally includes a casket spray for a funeral service or a large floral arrangement for a memorial service in Baylor colors. Human Resources will verify years of service.
- Sympathy plants for the death of extended family members, including grandparents and parents-in-law.
- Get-well wishes for the hospitalization of a faculty or staff member, spouse, or child. This typically includes flowers or a plant with a message of support from the Baylor family.
- Congratulatory flowers for the birth of a child to a faculty or staff member or their child.
To request a floral arrangement, please complete the Floral Request Form . Requests will be reviewed and processed by Procurement Services.
