Gricelda Saavedra

Gricelda joined Baylor in May 2023 and manages daily operations of the university travel program, including performance of the online booking tool. In her role as Travel Manager, she collaborates with relevant teams in reviewing, addressing, and identifying program improvement opportunities and serves as a liaison between the university community and travel suppliers facilitating communication, cooperation, and understanding. She also conducts regular travel program trainings and assists with the Travel Card program.
Gricelda is originally from Guatemala City, and currently lives in South Texas. As a minister’s wife, she enjoys planning church events and hosting gatherings.
