Karen joined Baylor in August 2024 and serves as a Strategic Sourcing Manager. She is an approachable procurement partner recognized for her expertise in complex strategic sourcing projects, detailed negotiations, in-depth cost analysis, and consistently delivering value-added results and strategic benefits to the university.
Karen is passionate about building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, fostering collaboration and teamwork to support Baylor’s mission of excellence and Christian stewardship. She holds degrees in engineering, business, and supply chain management, providing a strong technical and strategic foundation for her role.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with her church and community, and traveling.
